We explored the Erewash Canal through silhouettes, making lots of new shadow puppets ready for the afternoons celebrations. 

The chimneys of Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power station seen from the beginning of the Erewash Canal.

We rather hurredly devised a shadow show of a journey on the Erewash Canal, ready to perform that afternoon.

We met Hasmita at the clock tower who led us on a parade with flags and silhouettes, through the centre of Leicester

to the boats cross over event in the park.
Here a modern and not very high, yurt lay in waiting for us and the students, made a great shadow show, with hardly any darkness, no electricity and in cramped conditions walking on their knees!
I was very impressed.
