I am planning to come up to join a boat in Long Eaton from London for the first time in the next few days. Got a map of the area from the library. I have ordered some lace, made on authentic vintage Nottingham lace making machines, that might have been used in the old Long Eaton lace factory next to the canal. The lace has a grid pattern that reminds me of maps, which could be useful somehow.
I am planning workshops with local schools using my Mini Shadow Theatre kits.
