Walking, talking & munching cake!

We started our project on Newstead and Annersley Country Park with a stroll and some placards to explain some of the new things that are happening.

What do you do when people don't know why some things are there?  Well we made placards to explain.

The brave 10 head out in the rain to explore.

We collected loads of amazing ideas from people about their experience of the park and are formulating plans of benches, hides and composting toilets!

People were rewarded for their ideas with some yummy cakes provided by the WI.  Thanks Hilary & Lynda!
